Pinch Proof!

Let's face it.

Not all of us look good in green.

As St. Patrick's Day approaches, and you are searching for something green in your closet,

you start to think of those pesky people who think it's funny to pinch you.

I came across this on Pinterest the other day and thought it was too funny not to share!

We've come up with a way to make you "pinch proof" this year,

and a gift you can give your friends, co-workers, 

or the cute little leprechauns in your life.

And we've included a FREE Printable for you to attach it to.

Here's what you'll need:

• green felt (you can make about 12 per sheet)
• fabric scissors
• Shamrock Petal Template
• pin backs or hair clips
• buttons (if making hair clip)
• fabric scissors
• needle and green thread
• Pinch Proof Printable
• pen for tracing (I always use a sharpie)
• glue gun

First download the Shamrock Petal Template here.

Printing on card stock will make it easier to trace because of its small size.

Cut out the petal template and trace four petals on the felt, then cut.

Take the thread and begin to stitch the four petals together.

Make sure the tracing marks are all on the back.

Once all four have been stitched, connect them by stitching at each end.

Once they are together, pull tightly. Turn it over and stitch the ends together to secure.

Flip it over and you have a cute little shamrock!

Hot glue the pin back to the back side of the shamrock.

Doesn't everyone's glue gun look this loved?

A "pinch proof" pin! 

Want to make it into a hair clip for your little leprechaun?

Sew a green button onto the top of the shamrock.

Hot glue the hair clip to the back of the shamrock.

What little girl wouldn't love this?
