It's PEEPS season!

A package of these goodies last in our house for about 2 minutes!

And now there are SO MANY kinds!

We just love the play on PEEPS, and love all of the ideas floating all over Pinterest.

We, being HUGE Downton Abbey fans, especially love this one!

Here are some whimsical ways to use PEEPS this year!

Peeps place cards

Wouldn't these make the cutest place cards at your Easter kids' table this year?

And they are so EASY to make!

Here's what you'll need:

Any kind of Peeps

Melting Candy Making Chocolate (your choice of color)

Rice Krispies Treats (we bought the full-size sheet available at cake decorating stores)

Decorating Icing

Candy easter eggs (we used Hershey)
toothpicks

                                                        

Cut the Rice Krispies Treats into a bar size. Ours were 5 inches by 2 inches.

Separate out the Peeps.

Lay out a sheet of wax paper.

Melt the chocolate and cover the top of the bar with chocolate.

Place bar on wax paper.

Dip the Peep in chocolate and attach to bar.

Attach some eggs around the bunny with melted chocolate.

We used a toothpick underneath him to get him to stand straight up.

Ice the kids' names on the bar once the chocolate has hardened.

We cut out a piece of cardstock to set the place card on.

What little one wouldn't want an edible place card?

Peeps Pops

All you need is sucker sticks (the long cookie pop kind) and cellophane bags.

Slide peeps onto the stick and tie the bag with ribbon or these adorable Peeps Flags.
